Byron Community Education is guided by an advisory council. The Advisory Council is a diverse group of individuals who represent various organizations, such as service organizations, religious organizations, nonprofits, local government, parents, park and recreation, as well as other groups serving youth or adults in the community education program in Byron. Working together to identify goals and the best interests of individuals in the community, this group advises the Community Education Director on programming for all individuals in the Byron community.
The council meets 4 times a year to assess Community Education programs including but not limited to:
School Readiness/Preschool
Early Childhood Family Education
Enrichment for Youth and Adults
Project Kids Child Care
Please call Community Education at 775-2336 for more information or to find out how to become a council member.
